“My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way.”
–Ernest Hemingway |
Justice grew up in the mountains of Colorado, the third daughter of a blacksmith and designer. The way she sees it, life
is just one big story waiting to be told and everyone is a character trying to
find what part they play. By being a fervent reader she is inspired to write
the stories of those around her, friend and stranger. She has always had a love
of clothing, but her passion for fashion extends beyond the visible. She is
most interested in the symbolic system of fashion, how it represents time and
culture.
Upon leaving home at 17 Justice worked in New York before moving to San Francisco to study Fashion Journalism at the Academy of Art University. Midway through her studies at AAU she studied journalism and politics at Oxford University. She is now back in San Francisco, studying, working at a clothing store in Hayes Valley, and interning at a baby product start-up. |
